Application to construct an agricultural road (LDIR-902) (LDIR-902)

Any person/enterprise planning to construct or rebuild older agricultural roads.

The municipalities are responsible for processing and approving construction applications. Please contact the municipality in which you reside for more information and guidance.

If the agricultural benefit amounts to more than 50% of the road system, the application is processed under the Agricultural Roads Regulations. Agricultural roads are roads for passenger vehicles and tractors that are constructed in accordance with the normal standards that apply for agricultural roads stipulated by the Ministry of Agriculture and Food and more basic roads that are necessary for agricultural activities. If the road has an agricultural benefit of less than 50%, it will be considered in accordance with the Planning and Building Act.

Right to appeal

The municipalities are responsible for processing and approving construction applications and handing down decisions. The county governor is the appeal body.
