If you intend to have local radio broadcasts to cover local events in a geographically delimited area, you must apply for a short-term license for local radio broadcasts.
About this form
All persons/enterprises planning to engage in short-term local radio services.
The length of the short-term license is determined in relation to the duration of the event.
Applications for short-term licenses must be submitted well in advance and no later than four weeks before the event to be covered is scheduled to start.
The Norwegian Communications Authority (Nkom) issues frequency licenses upon application. The application form can be found on their website. If a frequency license is granted, a copy of the license must be enclosed with the application.
