When entering into an insurance mediation agreement, insurance companies must ensure that the conditions for registration in the Insurance Mediation Act are met with the company they enter into an agreement with. If the conditions are met, the insurance company must give a confirmation to the company. A form with confirmation from the insurance company is submitted to the Norwegian Financial Supervisory Authority if the company they enter into an agreement with applies for registration as an insurance agent company or ancillary insurance agent company (KRT-1186). The form should be used by the insurance company. The form is open and can be used by anyone (individuals or entities) needing to submit information to Finanstilsynet. If the company does not have a Norwegian organization number, you can log in with a custom user (level 0). You can do this by clicking Log in → Proceed to alternative log-in methods → Log in without national identity number/D-number and then choosing Create a new user. |
