Reporting and subsidies related to reindeer slaughter
This service can be used by those who are required to report slaughtered reindeer and inventory levels of reindeer meat to the Norwegian Agriculture Agency. The service is also used to submit applications for subsidies related to the reporting of slaughtered reindeer and transportation of reindeer in connection with slaughter.
You can find more information on the Norwegian Agriculture Agency’s website.
Who should use the form
The party who first purchases the raw material from the reindeer owner is responsible for reporting slaughtered reindeer and inventory of reindeer meat to the Norwegian Agriculture Agency.
The party submitting the slaughter report may also apply for subsidies for reporting and subsidies for transportation of reindeer related to slaughter.
When to use the form
The slaughter journal can be submitted all at once no later than two weeks after the end of the month in which the slaughter took place. Alternatively, you may submit the information in up to three stages:
- The slaughter journal (excluding price and owner information) must be uploaded no later than two weeks after the end of the slaughter month, i.e. by the 14th of the following month.
- Price reporting, including the reindeer owner's national identity number, must be uploaded no later than two months after the end of the month in which the slaughter took place. Please note that for slaughter in March, the deadline is April 30.
- Transportation information must be uploaded no later than three months after the transportation assignment is completed.
Inventory levels of reindeer meat must be reported no later than two weeks after the end of the slaughter month. If you have inventory in months when no slaughter occurs, this must also be reported – in such cases, you must report 0 kg for the different meat cuts.
Delegation
To report and submit applications on behalf of an enterprise, you must either have access to a specific service that grants access to the relevant form or have the Altinn role "Primary industries and foodstuffs."
Individuals with this access or role will be able to report reindeer slaughter and inventory levels on behalf of your enterprise, as well as apply for subsidies for slaughter reporting and transportation of reindeer in connection with slaughter.
They will also have access to the enterprise’s reporting and application history.
You can find instructions on how to delegate access and roles on Altinn’s website.
