The Basic Amount

The basic amount, often abbreviated G, is an amount that is relevant for the right to unemployment benefits, sickness benefits, and parental benefits etc., as well as the scope of these benefits. The basic amount is revised each year with effect from 1 May, in correspondence with the income growth.
