Registration in the Central Coordinating Register for Legal Entities and the Register of Business Enterprises

The service can be used by private individuals and organisations. You must sign in using ID‑porten (security level 3 or higher). 

You can use this service to submit information to:

• the Central Coordinating Register for Legal Entities 

• the Register of Business Enterprises 

• the Business Register of Statistics Norway 

• the Corporate Taxation Data Register

Signing 

When you are going to sign the notification, you will receive a message in your inbox in Altinn.

If you are completing the form and also need to sign, you will not receive a separate signing request. Instead, you sign directly in the form. The submission will not be sent for processing until all required parties have signed. 

Signing on behalf of an organisation

The following roles can sign on behalf of an organisation: 

• the chair of the board

• the general manager 

Privacy 

The Brønnøysund Register Centre’s privacy statement. 

In the Register of Non‑Profit Organisations, you can register:  

• associations

• foundations 

• private limited companies 

You can also update or remove information. 

To register, the organisation must first be registered in the Central Coordinating Register for Legal Entities and carry out voluntary activities. 

The registration in the Register of Non‑Profit Organisations is free of charge, and there is no annual fee.

If you want to register, update or remove another type of organisation, such as:

• sole propietorships

• private limited companies

• general partnerships

• co-operatives

• foundations

You will still need to use the service Coordinated register notification.
