How to give and receive new authorizations

Altinn roles as you know them have been replaced by new access packages. These contain authorization for forms and services within the same category. If you are missing something in your inbox, it may be that you are missing some authorizations.

It is now easy to request more. Select the actor, go to Access management, click on your own name and the button Request power of attorney.

Unfortunately, we cannot move the old roles, so in the transition from roles to access packages, access often needs to be granted again.

What do I need to do?

Have you previously granted roles or single services to others in old Altinn?

Grant them access packages or single services if you still want them to help you. You will find this under Access management.

Do you have a business with an accountant and/or auditor?

If it is registered via the Register of Business Enterprises, you do not need to do anything. The access will be moved automatically to the new Altinn.
If you have granted extra authorizations to your accountant and auditor, you will need to grant these again, either as access packages or single services.

Which access packages should I grant?

Unfortunately, we cannot advise you on which access package to grant. This is because what was previously included in one role is now spread across multiple access packages. You need to assess which services the various people and businesses need authorization for, and find out which of the new access packages these services are included in. You can search for services in the authorization overview under Access management.

Single services

If you want to grant authorization for single services, you can do so in the same way as before.
