Easier access management in new Altinn
Starting in early March 2026, we're launching the first improvements to make it easier for individuals and organizations to manage powers of attorney in Altinn. More updates will follow throughout March and April, making access management even more secure and user-friendly.
Log in to Altinn with email
From 13 February, you can log in to Altinn using your email address. "Email login" is an important step in making login more flexible, accessible, and secure for all users, especially those without a Norwegian identification number.
The new Altinn – simpler, safer and more modern
Starting December 1 2025, you will see more parts of Altinn’s new solution. After logging in, you will now encounter the new inbox and new access management pages for organizations as the default option.
Opening hours Altinn user service
From September 15th to May 15th, Altinn user service has winter opening hours from 8:00 AM to 3:30 PM.
Clearing up roles that gives rights to the role Contact Person
Altinn is clearing up roles that automatically gives rights to Contact Person for Norwegian registered foreign company (NUF). This means that the Contact Person will loose access to some roles.
