You can't yet share individual messages or grant access to them in the new Altinn inbox. We're aiming to add this feature by 22 April, but the date is subject to change.

When this feature launches, it will be called "Share and grant power of attorney" for individual messages.

You still need to grant access to individual services in old Altinn.

This isn't yet available in new Altinn. When we add this feature, it will be called "power of attorney for individual services."

Starting 4 March, individuals can grant others power of attorney for access packages. Your existing consents are automatically carried over.

Starting 4 March, organizations working on behalf of clients get better tools in new Altinn for managing internal access and permissions.

However, some administration still needs to be done in old Altinn:

• Some services are only available through accountant and auditor roles in old Altinn.
• Client delegation for these roles must be done in old Altinn, since changes in new Altinn don't sync back to old Altinn.
• Client delegations made in old Altinn 2 do sync to new Altinn access packages and will be available there.

From 4 March, Altinn supports guardianship using data from the National Population Register. Guardians automatically get the right powers of attorney to handle tasks for the person they represent. Both parties can view a clear overview of the guardianship arrangement in Altinn, showing exactly what powers of attorney are active.
