Application for salary subsidy to bring back laid off employees

Employers that bring back their laid off employees may be entitled to be paid an amount per employee for October, November and December. The scheme applies to employers that are self-employed persons and businesses (ENK), private limited companies (AS), non-profit organisations and foundations that have laid off employees as a result of the coronavirus situation. You may use this scheme independently of other schemes.

About this form

From 1 February 2021, you may send an application for salary compensation to bring back laid off employees. You may apply for October, November and/or December.

For sole proprietorships (ENK), a person with one of following roles may apply on behalf of the enterprise:

  • Owner
  • Authorised accountant/auditor (with access to Altinn on behalf of the enterprise)

For other business forms, a person with one of the following roles may apply on behalf of the enterprise:

  • General manager
  • Chairman of the board
  • Managing shipownerPartner with joint liability
  • Partner with full liability
  • General partner
  • Norwegian representative for foreign unit
  • Authorised accountant/auditor (with access to Altinn on behalf of the enterprise)
