Medicinal products for animals that are exempt from approval

As a general rule, veterinarians and aqua medicine biologists must use medicinal products with Norwegian marketing authorisation. In some cases, no relevant medicinal products exist in the Norwegian market. It is therefore possible to apply for an exemption from marketing authorisation.
