About this form

Those involved in collection and storage of bovine semen used for artificial insemination. Applications are submitted electronically via the Food Safety Authority's electronic forms service.

Documentation of responsible veterinarian in the form of a contract or legally binding document must be enclosed with the application.
The application must also include information about location, equipment and facilities, health status etc. in accordance with the Regulations relating to animal health conditions etc. 

The scheme is an approvals scheme for semen and embryos.

Remarks:

A fee is charged for processing the application, cf. the Regulations relating to payment of fees for specific services offered by the Norwegian Food Safety Authority.
