Application for personal authorisation as a external accountant (KRT-3000)
This form should be used when applying for approval as a state-authorised external accountant.
When should I use this form?
Applications with attachments should be submitted when the applicant believes they meet the conditions for approval and has procured the necessary documentation. See information about the conditions on the Financial Supervisory Authority of Norway's website:

Who should use this form?
The application form should only be used for personal applications for a license as a state-authorized accountant.
To access this form you must create a new username(one time operation) throught KRT-3080:
Log on-choose International-Email log on-Create user
To complete this form you need the Altinn package Person(everyone has this). The form must be signed by someone with the role Auditor's rights.
You can see what roles you have on behalf of a party on the Access management page. If you do not have the necessary roles, you need someone who has the roles to delegate them to you.

Fee:
There is no fee for processing the application.
Case processing deadlines:
The Financial Supervisory Authority aims to process authorisation applications within 30 days. However, processing may take longer if the application is complex or lacks documentation. Processing time may also be extended if there are many cases to be handled. Therefore, some applicants may experience processing times longer than 30 days.
Processing Time:
The applicant will always receive a decision letter once the application has been processed. As a general rule, the response is sent to a digital mailbox if the applicant has one. If the applicant does not have a digital mailbox, the response will be sent to the provided postal address. The applicant will also be contacted if the application is missing required documentation.
Right of appeal:
The decision of the Financial Supervisory Authority can be appealed. The appeal should be sent to the Financial Supervisory Authority. The appeals body is the Appeals Board for Accountants. The applicant has the right to access the case documents within the framework of the Public Administration Act §§ 18 to 19. The appeal must state which decision is being appealed, the desired change, and the reasons for the appeal. The Financial Supervisory Authority will conduct any investigations warranted by the appeal, and if the rejection is upheld, forward the appeal to the appeal body, cf. the Public Administration Act § 33.
